Judith Shieh Krasinski is a Taiwanese-American portrait and street photographer. Born in New York City and raised in Central Virginia, she began making photographs with a Polaroid camera before progressing to short films on Super 8. Her early interest in visual storytelling led her to New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she earned a BFA in Film and Television, followed by an MA in English Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. After graduating, she taught in New York City’s public schools for several years.

While living in the Philadelphia suburbs with her husband and two children, Judith rediscovered her passion for visual art through digital photography. Eventually, her work appeared in publications and online platforms, including Click Magazine, National Geographic’s Your Shot, and The Philadelphia Inquirer. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she began to take regular photo walks throughout Philadelphia, a practice that quickly sparked her enthusiasm for street photography.

Judith’s work has since been exhibited locally, as well as internationally across multiple continents. Her images have been selected for inclusion in the Brussels Street Photography Festival, exhibitions by Women Street Photographers, and the Kuala Lumpur Photography Festival, where her photo received first prize in 2025.
